Trish Hook

Trish Hook is a multi-talented Event Director who has been in the LA industry for over 10 years.
 
Born and raised in HK, she is a blend of Chinese, Filipino and Welsh. At the age of 16 after losing her father to a short battle with Cancer, she moved to England to continue her Education, eventually graduating from the London Institute with a BA (Hons) in Product Development. While studying in London, Trish found herself immersed in the socialite party scene, so much so that after she graduated she was immediately recruited to promote London’s most exclusive members clubs. In three years this quickly evolved into a full service event company whose client list included Nokia, Playboy TV, KPMG, Wachovia to name a few.
 
It was at this point in time Trish became more drawn to California (her family are based in La Jolla) and she realized a life change was on the cards. In under three months she packed up her life and moved to Hermosa Beach, and started working for Classic Party Rentals as an Event Manager. This is where she really came into her own as it exposed her to an endless array of events which gave her the foundation to build her business on.  After three years of learning the ropes, Trish was promoted to Event Consultant where she has excelled for the last several years in building her expertise and knowledge as well as developing a loyal following of corporate clients along with LA’s top wedding & event planners. She is in her happy place when she is able to exercise her design background and production skills, but ultimately, she is happiest when she makes a client’s vision realized “It’s not about just providing the client with product, it’s about bringing their vision to life”!
 
To Trish the event business isn’t just a job, but a way of life, every event is a celebration and that’s how she approaches it every time. When she’s not creating events, she spends most of her time in DTLA where she lives and enjoys “foodie” dinners and good wine with friends, spoiling herself to at least one Michelin meal a year! Now at Town & Country, she is excited about the vast inventory she is now able to offer her clients and can’t wait to see where this next step takes her and what she can create next!
